An accounting method for a rich media and a system thereof are provided to reasonably impose the fee for the usage of a rich media that a user uses. A rich media is reproduced according to the selection from a user(300), and it is judged whether an advertising media included in the rich media is started or terminated(302). If the advertising media is started or terminated, a charging process is performed in the starting or terminating point of the advertisement media(304). It is judged whether or not the advertisement media is displayed on a screen of a terminal(306). If not, the non-reproduction information for the advertisement media is generated(308). The non-reproduction information is transmitted to a media server(310). |
