<p>The invention relates to an optical document reader, characterised essentially in that it consists of various assemblies mounted on a chassis 1 which rests on a support 2 with an inclination of about 30 DEG , these assemblies being installed inside a box 3 whose rear part comprises a coupling and a multiple connector for connecting with another peripheral piece of equipment, this box 3 comprising, on its front part, an opening which constitutes an inlet hopper 5 in front of a table 6 along which is set of upper and lower guide wheels 7, 8 installed on axles which are transverse with respect to the chassis 1 and on bearings, the first wheels 7 being subjected to the action of springs 17 which apply them against the second wheels 8, while the axle of the first wheel 7 is articulated on a plate 11 which bears on the table 6 under the effect of its own weight. <IMAGE></p> |
