PURPOSE:To obtain toner for electrophotographic printing having excellent electric chargeability and the stability thereof with age by incorporating a specific complex salt compd. into the toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the complex salt compd. expressed by the formula I. In the formula I, X denotes Cl, Br, SO2NH2, SO2CH3 or SO2C2H5, and A<+> denotes an alkenyl or alkyl ammonium of 17-28C. The complex salt compd. expressed by the formula I acts also as a negative electric charge controlling agent. Said compd. has good compatibility with a binder resin. The toner prepd. by using said compd. has a high specific electric charge quantity and the stability thereof with age is good; therefore, the stable and sharp images are obtd. in electrophotographic printing even after long-term preservation. |
