The invention relates to a capsule element manometer having a two-stage display range rendered possible by an additional capsule, and having at least one stiff plate fixed to the housing. The essence of the invention is that the capsule is arranged on one side of a stiff plate (7) and the additional capsule (13) is arranged on the other side of the plate (7), and in that a part (11) of a tapping lever (10, 11) for the display, which part bears against the capsule (3, 6), engages through a cutout (12) in the plate (7) and comes to bear against the additional capsule (13) when the lower pressure range is exceeded. <IMAGE>
