<p>PURPOSE:To permit the speedy brake operation for a car by operating a brake at a prescribed degree for a prescribed time when the engine load is below a prescribed value when the manual shift in the engine brake operation direction of an automatic transmission is detected. CONSTITUTION:A manual shift detecting means B for detecting the manual shift in the engine brake operation direction of an automatic transmission A is provided. An engine load detecting means D for detecting the load of an engine C is provided. The output signals of the detecting means B and D are input into a brake driving means F, and when the load of the engine C is below a prescribed value in manual shift, the brake E of the car is operated at a prescribed degree for a prescribed time. In other words, when the engine load is below a prescribed value in the manual shift which is executed for the demand of the engine brake, the brake is operated speedily, and the rapid brake operation for the car is permitted.</p> |
