PURPOSE:To improve the reliability against a vibration and a shock, to increase the number of terminals to two times, and to diversity a display pattern by inserting and holding an electric connecting terminal part of both side terminal liquid crystal display elements by a conductive connecting body, and compressing and fixing it by a front panel. CONSTITUTION:A conductive connecting body 100 is constituted by laminating alternately thin layers of conductive rubber 8, 18 and thin layers of insulating rubber 9, 19 and embedded in insulating rubber 12. On the insulating layer 12, a groove 13 of width H is provided so as to form a U-shape. On the side faces opposed to each other of the groove 13, a laminated structure of the conductive rubber 8 and the insulating rubber 9 and a laminated structure of the conductive rubber 18 and the insulating rubber 19 are placed so as to be exposed. On both sides of a substrate of a liquid crystal cell, liquid crystal display cells 22, 23 provided with an electric connecting terminal are superposed, terminal parts of the superposed liquid crystal display elements 22, 23 are inserted and held in the groove part 13, and a compressive force of some extent is applied to the conductive connecting body 100 by a frame-shaped front panel 24, by which a liquid crystal display element 25 formed by laminating the liquid crystal cells 22, 23 is fixed to a printed board 5. In this way, a mutual shift of a double layer liquid crystal element can be prevented. |
