PURPOSE:To obtain the recorder having the high accurate adjusting function of record timing for correction of the dislocation caused by bidirectional recording, by providing the first adjusting means by which a reference time can be set at each edge of the drive pulse of a stepping motor and the second adjusting means by which a reference time can be set at a time point further delayed by a fixed time from the time point set thereby. CONSTITUTION:When a correction value is set at +1 by turning on the switch SW2 for course adjusting, the timing when a recording head 6 starts to drive, comes to a state as indicated by a recording pulse (+1) and the recording position in recording leftward is moved leftward by one dot by comparing it with the case of zero in correction value. Further, when the correction value by which the course adjusting switches SW1, SW2 are adjusted are set at -1 or -2, the record timing comes to a state as indicated by a recording pulse (-1) or a recording pulse (-2) and the recording position is moved rightward by one dot or two dots. Further, when a correction value is set at +2-+7 by adjusting fine adjusting switches SW3-SW5, the recording position in recording leftward can be moved leftward to the maximum (7/8) dot by (1/8) dot. |
