PURPOSE:To automatically recognize a drilling pattern out of a drawing where many patterns are drawn by recognizing the pattern of a circular shape and of a size smaller than a prescribed size as a final drilling pattern and outputting it. CONSTITUTION:An inputted picture is converted into a binary picture data by a drawing inputting part 1 and an address control hardware 4. Not only the drilling patterns but also characters, general patterns, line segments and other elements are contained in the inputted picture, and the picture data of an isolated pattern to be a candidate for the drilling pattern is extracted by a picture processor 3 and the address control hardware 4. Only the patterns of circular shapes and of smaller size than the prescribed size among the extracted patterns, are recognized as the drilling patterns by a drilling pattern recognizing device 6, and an NC tape preparing data for drilling according to a hole size and to a hole position is outputted to an NC tape preparing device 7. |
