PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent image, by a method wherein the data relating to an incident position is calculated each time radioactive rays are incident and the center-of-gravity position of an image is calculated from the image at every unit time and each image is shifted so that said center-of-gravity position is always set to the same position. CONSTITUTION:Each time gamma-rays are incident, position signals X, Y showing the incident positions of gamma-rays are generated to an examinee 1 from the detector 2 of a scintillation camera and stored in an image collection memory 4 through an interface circuit 3. When measurement is performed for a definite time, data relating to the number of incident of gamma-rays at every position of the examinee 1 are collected to constitute an image. Each image is read and the center of gravity thereof is calculated by a center-of-gravity calculation circuit 6 and the differences DELTAX, DELTAY of the center-of- gravity positions of the first and second images are sent to a shift circuit 7. The differences DELTAX, DELTAY are subtracted from the signal X, Y read from the memory 4 in the circuit 7 and signals X-DELTAX, Y-DELTAY are returned to the memory 4. By this method, the center-of-gravity position of the second image is two dimensionally shifted so as to coincide with that of the first image.
