The sign holder has a display surface with groups of projections sepd. by channels. The channels can removably accommodate a strong string contrasting with the surface but having a dia. similar to that of the channel diameters. The edges of the projections form the circumference of a circle and there are at least two channels crossing within each group. The groups contain eight equally spaced sectors forming a circle and the groups are arranged into a matrix so that the string can be laid between the groups. Bordering each of the groups are lengthwise extending channels and the holder is composed of translucent material which is also transparent to U.V.. There are also stencil fitting members.
