PURPOSE:To reduce temperature dependency of electrifiable quantity, and to prevent offset trouble and roller winding trouble by incorporating a specified polyester binder and a polyolefin wax in a toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the optionally modified polyolefin wax and the binder made of the polyester obtained by polycondensation of an acid component and a polyol component represented by the formula shown on the right in which R is ethylene or propylene, and each of x and y is an integer and the average value of their sum is 2-7. Said acid component is a mixture of an aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or its anhydride, and an aliphatic unsaturated >=3-carboxylic acid or its anhydride in a molar ratio of (100-5):5-(100-30):30. If the higher carboxylic acid component is <5, the offset resistance of the toner becomes deficient, and if >=30mol%, the electrifiable quantity is changed by humidity. |
