PURPOSE:To control discharge air temperature and holding it at a constant temperature to give the driver and passengers good warmth feeling by raising or lowering the evaporation temperature or set value of evaporation pressure in accordance with changes in the volume of air from an evaporator fan. CONSTITUTION:Mode selection signal for a selection switch 31 in order to change over the volume of the air from an evaporator or the output signal of an air speed sensor provided at the outlet of the evaporator fan is inputted to a control circuit 29, and when the volume of the air from the evaporator fan is large, set value for evaporation temperature or for evaporation pressure is lowered, and when the volume of the air from the evaporator fan is small, set value for the evaporation temperature or evaporation pressure is raised. With this arrangement it is possible to hold at a constant temperature the discharge air temperature from the evaporator fan regardless of the volume of the air from the evaporator fan. Consequently it is possible to give the driver and passengers good warmth feeling without giving excessive room cooling as experienced with conventional machines when the selection switch 31 is changed over from high to low operation. |
