The spur gear transmission for passenger motor vehicles represents an addition to P 3527390.9. The double clutch of the transmission of the main application is equipped with two actuating mechanisms, to which pressure medium can be admitted independently of one another. In this way the passenger motor vehicle transmission which is operated semi-automatically (without clutch actuation) is improved in that, when shifting the double clutch, an overlap of the torques occurs, thereby making a smooth, non-positive connection to the drive output. <IMAGE>
