A device for the uniform distribution of a two-phase flow containing a liquid component and a gaseous component, particularly of a fuel/air mixture in a mixture feed unit for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, is described, this device having a flow inlet port (3), which is arranged in the centre of a housing (2), and also a plurality of flow discharge ports (4) which are arranged in a plane essentially perpendicular to the flow inlet port and are connected to the latter. At the same time the flow inlet port (3) shall be bounded by the face of a closure member (8) which is retained, preferably by press fitting, in a retaining hole (7) arranged coaxially with the flow inlet port. In addition, the retaining hole (7) shall be designed with a substantially larger diameter than the flow inlet port (3), and a distributing chamber (11) in the form of a narrow gap shall be formed between the face (10) of the closure member (8) and the bottom (9) of the retaining hole (7), the flow discharge ports (4) opening into this distributing chamber. In order that a simple production and assembly may now be ensured, the closure member (8) shall comprise a plane cylinder which is kept separate from the flat bottom (9) of the retaining hole (7), with an encircling chamfered edge (12) which is provided on the cylinder face (10) and in the area of which the flow discharge ports (4) on the surface of the ...
