The invention relates to a building element (1), whose outer limiting lines (A, B, C, D) form a parallelepiped. This building element (1) has, in profile, a lower rectangular cross-section with a lower groove (20), a cruciform structure (10, 11, 16) being arranged on this lower cross-section. Together with other building elements, which are of similar structure, this building element (1) can form numerous plug-in connections.
