The method provided in an embodiment of the present invention comprises: when information collected by a first network device supporting a specific protocol complies with an information identification of a second network device, actively transmitting, by the first network device, first information to the second network device also supporting the specific protocol without needing to receive an information request proposed by the second network device, the first information carrying the information complied with the information identification of the second network device and collected by the first network device therein.
