PURPOSE:To confirm the position of a cartridge by providing two detecting terminals in the cartridge chamber of a camera, and providing a circuit for detecting the position shift of a film cartridge in a cartridge chamber by receiving an output of said detecting terminals. CONSTITUTION:A film cartridge 13 is provided with a code pattern for forming film information such as a film sensitivity, etc., and detecting terminals 14, 15 are projected from a cartridge chamber side and detect these code patterns 13a by code electrodes 1-12. The detecting terminals 14, 15 contact to common electrode parts 1, 7 of the code pattern 13a, respectively so that a film information signal can be read. A position shift detecting circuit 16 detects whether the film cartridge 13 is stored in a regular position or not when it is stored in the cartridge chamber, and it is stored in a film information signal detecting circuit 17. |
