PURPOSE:To correctly adjust the distance between feed claws by moving a floating gear, with a driving shaft fixed, thereby rotating a driven shaft to rotate one sprocket only. CONSTITUTION:When a case 40 is rotated by a servo motor 60 by a preset quantity, the second bevel gear 32 is also moved around a driving shaft 2 together. In this case, the first bevel gear 30 is fixed to the driving shaft 2 and is stopped, thus the bevel gear 32 engaged with this bevel gear 30 is rotated centering its axis 70 while being moved around the driving shaft 2. This rotation is transmitted to the third bevel gear 34 engaged with the second bevel gear 32 and further rotates a driven shaft 16 via gears 42, 46, 48, 50. As a result, the outside sprocket 6 fixed to the driving shaft 2 is stopped, while the inside sprocket 12 rotated via the driven shaft 16 is rotated, thus both chains 22, 24 are relatively moved, and the distance between feed claws 26, 28 can be changed. |
