PURPOSE:To take an excellent copy at any time even if atmospheric temperature and the temperature of a copying machine vary by controlling the light emission energy of a light source according to the temperature of a copying original or copied material. CONSTITUTION:A mask sheet 11 and a recording form 15 vary in temperature when contacting a roller 14, so a temperature detector 18 contacts the mask sheet 11 and recording form 15 where they contact the roller 14 and is fitted outside a reflecting mirror 17 not to generate an error with light from a xenon flash lamp 16, thereby measuring the temperature of the mask sheet 11 right before a copy is taken. The charging voltage of a capacitor 20 is held high at low temperatures and low at high temperatures according to the temperature of the mask sheet 11 detected by the temperature detector 18, thereby optimizing the light emission energy of the xenon flash lamp 16. Consequently, transfer is performed with the best transfer energy all the time even if atmospheric temperature and the temperature of the copying machine vary. |
