For a learning kit comprising text cards which, especially for the learning of foreign languages, are printed with words or sentences, are arranged in sequence in a container and can be removed therefrom and returned thereto individually, this container has the shape of a quiver with an insertion aperture at one of its end faces, and the text cards (3) are inserted lengthwise into the quiver with a printed side at one front or visible surface of that quiver, it also being possible for its visible or front surface to be transparent. A learning kit proves particularly advantageous if the visible surface of the container is provided, for the direct reading-off of the inscription (7) on the inserted text cards (3), with a transparent window (17) having one or more marginal masking strips (18), so that these masking strips can be used to mask the additional text provided on the text cards, such as translation aids, phonetic spellings, user notes or complete translations. <IMAGE>
