A slide fastener slider (10) having a pull tab (19, 24) pivotally connected to a support lug (16) on a slider body (11) by means of a pivot (P). The pivot (P) includes a tubular spring (22) having a slit (23) along its entire length. The pull tab (19, 24) has a pair of axially aligned holes (17a', 17f') (24a', 24b') through which the tubular spring (22) is inserted. The tubular spring (22) has in its free form a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the holes (17e', 17'f) (24a', 24b'). <IMAGE>
