In a lever mechanism with pivotable levers guided by a guide rail, these levers are passed through the guide rail and brought into contact for a fixed period of time with pins of a driving wheel. The levers are articulated on the output shaft. The engagement of the levers on the pins is accomplished with the aid of a recess (circular constriction) in the guide rail. Instead of the pins, the driving wheel can also have teeth. The aim of the invention is to employ the leverage at a predetermined point for the purpose of saving energy.
