PURPOSE:To realize press molding of a wide coil of core portion by using a keystone type dummy wire or dummy plate at the external circumference of coil core and winding the superconducting wire in the form of racetrack at the external circumference thereof. CONSTITUTION:For example, a supercondncting wire 1 of the keyston shape is used and total of 20 dummy wires 8 having the same sectional area size and shape as those of superconducting wire consisting of hard copper wire are provided to the external circumference of core 2 made of SUS and then the superconducting wire in size of 2.1 mm X 1.9 mm X 6 mm is coiled in the shape of racetrack to the external circumference thereof. This coil is formed to a saddle type coil using a press molding machine. Thereafter, the core and dummy wire are removed, to form a wide coil 6 of the core, for example, with the internal diameter of 77 mm and external diameter of 83 mm of the coil. |
