PURPOSE:To detect a tap position with high accuracy even in case the tap is switched for a large number of times, by detecting a tap switching state by a logical decision based on a detecting current and a detecting voltage in a switching element, and controlling ON and OFF of the switching element. CONSTITUTION:In case an electric conduction contact 65 and tap selectors 66, 67 are moved continuously by a driving mechanism 77, and a high voltage tap 70, etc. are selected from a voltage tape 69, etc., a detecting voltage and a detecting current by voltage detectors and current detectors 75 and 72, 76 and 73 corresponding to the selectors 66, 67, respectively are supplied to a controlling circuit 71. As a result, the circuit 71 decides logically a tap switching state from these inputs and decides ON and OFF of thyristor switches 61, 62, and the contact 65 is connected to the tap 70 in a no-power state. According to this constitution in which a turning contact, etc. are not used, even in case switching is executed by a large number of times, a tape position is detected with high accuracy, and the switching reliability of the tap is improved. |
