The method of continuously treating objects has a work station (3) with an inlet star wheel (4), fed from a conveyor (1), with a number of pockets (a,b--n). An object admitted is carried by a pocket (a) to an intermediate wheel (5), treated then passed to an exit wheel (6). All these wheels have pockets in multiples of the number of operations. - A transfer wheel (7), with the number of pockets equal to the number of required operations, then returns the object for another cycle but to a succeeding pocket position (b) on the inlet wheel. The pockets (n) in the succession on the exit and transfer wheels have elastomer membranes to eject the treated object to an exit conveyor (8).
