A support and transmission module 25 for the winding shaft 23 of a raisable roll-up door driven in rotation by an electric motor comprises a closed casing 30; at least two parallel spindles 31, 33, 35, a primary spindle 31 being connected to the output shaft 32 of the motor and a secondary spindle 33 being connected to the winding shaft 23; transmission and reducing means 42, 43, 44, 45 fixed to the said spindles for transmitting to the winding shaft 23 the rotational force generated by the motor 27 and for reducing the rotational speed of the said motor; ball-bearings or needle-bearings 37, 37'; 39, 39'; 41, 41' for allowing the free rotation of the spindles 31, 33, 35; bearings 36, 36'; 38, 38'; 40, 40' for supporting the said ball-bearings and needle-bearings. This reliable module, which can be prefabricated industrially and fitted to any type of raisable roll-up door, makes it possible, in combination with a similar module, to replace the twenty or so components necessary for making the device for supporting and driving the winding shaft of a raisable roll-up door. <IMAGE>
