Safety device for attaching the harness of a board sailor to the wishbone of the rig of a sailboard using a hook provided on this harness. For each branch 3 of the wishbone, this device consists of a harness line 1, one end 2 of which is fixed using rope in order to allow complete freedom of movement on this branch, whereas its opposite end 4 is attached to this branch using a detachable coupling system. The two parts 5, 6 of this coupling system are held assembled by elastic retention members provided on one of them, which allows separation of these two parts in the case of an excessive pulling force. This device is intended to be fitted to one or other of the branches of the wishbone of a sailboard rig. <IMAGE>
