The invention specifies a pivot-hung window (1) which is suitable for subsequent installation into a glazing-bar window or into a glazing-bar door. It comprises a frame with a Z-shaped profile, on which at least one hinge (2) and one pivot fitting (3) are fitted. The frame serves to secure a glass pane (9) which is fixed by means of a glazing bar (10). Moreover, it forms a bearing surface for the opening into which the pivot-hung window (1) is introduced. <IMAGE>
