The invention relates to a photoelectric method for colour temperature measurement and a colour parameter for carrying out the method. Image disection (decomposition) is undertaken on the recorded radiation pattern emitted by the measurement object, and the radiation is divided into two beams by means of a colour splitter and directed via colour filters onto the surfaces of the detectors. The quotient of the measured radiant energies of the two beams is a measure of the colour temperature of the measurement object.
