A hair curler with means for receiving and winding hair strands has a body (1) composed of two parts (2, 3) hinged together and at least one foil attached thereto. For permanent waving of the initial part of the hairs only, protective foils (3, 4), impervious to the waving liquid, are fixed to each part of the hair curler. The foils extend a considerable distance transversaly to the length of the hair curler body. |
