The invention relates to a metal lattice girder for scaffolding construction and the erection of wide-span temporary shelters, which girder comprises at least three chords in one plane and in the case of which at least one chord has two longitudinally running grooves for inserting tarpaulins with weather strips. By integrating the lattice girder in scaffolding systems with plug-in and/or suspension connections, a considerable reduction in mounting costs is achieved.
