<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to convert the optical axis by a single-filament lamp, by furnishing a converting switch to convert a running beam and a passing-by beam, and an adjusting switch responding to the car body inclination, and rotating freely switches which rotate and control the longitudinal and the lateral optical axes by plural motors depending on the operations of the said two switches. CONSTITUTION:A converting switch 12 to convert the optical axis of headlights to a running beam or a passing-by beam, and an optical axis adjusting switch 11 to adjust the optical axis of the headlights responding to the car body inclination are furnished, and motors 7 to 10 are driven through a left side headlight lateral optical axis detecting switch 1, left side headlight longitudinal optical axis detecting switches 2 and 3, a right side headlight lateral optical axis detecting switch 4, and right side headlight longitudinal optical axis detecting switches 5 and 6 respectively, depending on the operations of the switches 11 and 12. By the drives of the motors 7 to 10, specific conversions of the optical axis designated to the switches 1 to 6 are exercised. Therefore, by using a lamp of a single filament, the optical axis can be adjusted minutely responding to the running and the loading conditions.</p> |
