PURPOSE:To improve riding comfortability by providing a cylinder at one part of the fitting part of a spring lower member and a stabilizer and a piston with a communication hole at the other part, and fitting a shutoff valve to a hydraulic circuit connected to the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic circuit 41 connecting a cylinder 32 to a hydraulic source 40 is fitted with a shutoff valve 42. When this valve 42 is closed, a hydraulic volume in the cylinder 32 is kept constant. Consequently, as a hydraulic fluid displaced with the ingress of a piston rod 34 into the cylinder 32 cannot flow to the outside of the cylinder 32, the piston rod 34 is usable to enter the cylinder 32 and a piston 37 is unable to slide. Therefore, it is possible to maintain a space over a predetermined value between the fitting part of a stabilizer bar 2 and a lower arm 4, and improve riding comfortability, without sealing a space between the piston 37 and the cylinder 32 in liquid tightness. |
