Contaminated flue gases pass through channel to the electrostatic separator which is connected to a contact reaction. Air and an absorption slurry enter the reactor. Gases bearing solids leave the reactor to a filter and then to a fan. cleaned gas leaves via a stack. A mixt. of solid particles is removed from the separator tothe silo. This comprises flyash, solid particles formed by the reaction between the contaminants and added lminestone. It is made up as a slurry to be introduced. Limestone is introduced to the furnace via tube. |
