PURPOSE:A flame-retardant lubricating oil, containing a polyoxyalkylene glycol diether, glycol monoether, mineral oil based base oil, water, etc., at a specific ratio and soluble in mineral oil without dissolving in water and having low pour point as well as good shear resistance. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil consisting of (A) 5-85wt% polyoxyalkylene glycol diether, expressed by formula I (R1 and R4 are 6-30C monofunctional hydrocarbon; G1 and G2 are polyoxyalkylene; R3 is methylene, ethylene, etc.) and having 500-20,000 average molecular weight, (B) 5-50wt% glycol monoether expressed by formula II (R5 is 1-8C monofunctional hydrocarbon), (C) 5-30wt% polyoxyalkylene glycol monoether expressed by formula III (R6 is 6-30C monofunctional hydrocarbon; G3 is polyoxyalkylene), (D) 1-50wt% mineral oil based base oil and (E) 10-50wt% water. EFFECT:The oil can be used as a working oil and cutting and grinding oil or simple kind of oil can be commonly used as the working oil and gear oil. |
