PURPOSE:To easily connect a branch line to an arbitrary optical fiber core wire, in an arbitrary part of a tape core wire, by welding and connecting in a lump both ends of a multipoint connecting unit to a cutting end of the tape core wire, respectively, and also, fusing and connecting the branch line to a cutting end of a single core wire. CONSTITUTION:A multipoint connecting unit 4 which is interposed and inserted between cutting ends of a tape core wire is formed in a shape of a tape by hardening only both end parts of single core wires 5 whose number is the same as the number of cores of the tape core wire 3, by a resin 6 in a lump in a state that they have been uniformized in a plane shape. Also, to the cutting end of the tape core wire 3, both ends of the multipoint connecting unit 4 are fused and connected in a lump, respectively, and to a connecting part of the tape core wire 3 and the multipoint connecting unit 4, a resin forcer 7 is attached. Subsequently, among plural pieces of single core wires 5 of the multipoint connecting unit 4, single core wires 5a, 5b to which a branch line is to be connected are cut in the middle, and to the cutting ends of its single core wires 5a, 5b, a branch line 8 to a subscriber is fused and connected, respectively. In the end, to a connecting part of the single core wires 5a, 5b and the branch line 8, a reinforcer 9 is attached. |
