Asymmetrical staples which cut down on striking force and are intended, in particular, to be used for staplers and tackers

For the individual staples, the longitudinal-leg lengths are configured in somewhat different lengths, as a result of which the striking force to be applied to the staple is delayed somewhat respectively on the two longitudinal staple legs, which are to be driven in, and thus causes a reduction in striking force. In addition, the partial sticking and jamming of the staple in the stapler or tacker is prevented. By bevelling the striking ram of staplers or tackers, the same effect can be achieved. For hole punchers, a reduction in force is achieved by configuring the punches in different lengths.
