PURPOSE:To facilitate copying operation by mounting an automatic original feeding device equipped with a paper feeding means, a returning means for guiding an original on an original platen onto an original on an original tray, and a circulation detecting means for detecting one round of the original mounted on the original tray. CONSTITUTION:The original guided by the feeding means 32 from the original tray 31 to the original platen 36 is sent by the returning means 39 from the original platen 36 to the original tray 31. At this time, the feeding means 32 feeds originals from the lowermost one and the returning means 39 guides the original from the original platen onto the originals on the original tray. Therefore, the mounting order of the plural originals mounted on the original tray is unchanged. When the original mounted at the uppermost part is conveyed to the original platen 36, a microswitch 35 detects all the originals being conveyed once. Thus, the paper feeding timing of transfer materials is varied and images of plural originals constituting one original group are copied to a single transfer material independently of one another. |
