A puncturing set for placement of a catheter by Seldinger's method of blood pressure measurement comprises an electronic pressure measuring probe as a pressure transducer which is located at the end of an electrical pressure measuring line carrying the measurement voltage and is sealingly introduced into a Y-shaped connecting piece. Pressure measurement takes place in the connecting piece itself.
