<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality images and enable a light source to be easily replaced, by providing a regulating means so that it comes into contact with or proximity to a transfer recording medium with a light-transmitting intermediate medium therebetween, and constructing a cassette so that it can be detachably fitted to a main body of a recorder. CONSTITUTION:Light from fluorescent lamps 3c, 3d is projected on a transfer recording medium 1 through only a cutout 14c in a slitted plate 14a, and since the cutout 14c is in contact with the medium 1 through an intermediate medium 15 therebetween, the light is projected only on a transfer recording layer 1b being heated by a heat generating element row 3b of a recording head 3a. Since the cutout 14c and the transfer recording layer 1b do not make direct contact with each other, the cutout 14c will not be clogged. The medium 1 with an image formed thereon is fed to a transferring part 4, where a recording paper 8 is laid on an image-formed range of the layer 1b, and both members are heated and pressed between a transfer roller 4a and a pressure roller 4b, whereby a transfer image in two colors, viz. blue and magenta, is transferred onto the paper 8.</p> |
