Tourniquet for body parts, especially extremities such as an upper arm, with a tape or the like which is guided on a lock housing and is to be guided through the lock housing with one terminal section so as to form a loop, and with a pivotable clamping lever with which the tape can be fixed on the lock housing in the constricting state. The clamping lever is designed as a one-part insertion flap and is located on one end of the tape and can be inserted in the lock housing with interlocking engagement for the purpose of fixing the tape. <IMAGE>
