PURPOSE:To improve high voltage-resistant characteristics by cutting a resistor by a circular arc having the center on the outside of the resistor and cutting the resistor, measuring the resistance value of the resistor by a circular arc having a larger radius. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 11 is cut in the direction of the arrow up to an end point 14 according to the circular arc of a central point 13 from a starting point 12. The resistor 11 is cut in the direction of the arrow, measuring the resistance value of the resistor 11 according to the circular arc of the central point 13 in the same manner from the starting point 15, and cutting is stopped at a point 16 where the resistance value reaches a fixed value. The starting point 15 is positioned in the direction separate from the starting point 12. A groove obtained is formed in a circular arc having width as a groove 17 shaped to the resistor 11. Since the groove takes a uniform shape with the exception of the end point 16 and no corner is formed, there is no point where field strength is increased, thus improving high voltage-resistant characteristics. The pitch of a concentric circle is minimized as much as possible, thus reducing the disturbance of field strength at the end point 16 in a negligible extent. |
