NICKEL OXIDE-HYDROGEN SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To retard self discharge of a battery to steadily retain charged quantity of electricity for a long time by adding insoluble vinyl polymer to a nickel oxide-hydrogen secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:0.3 wtpts vinyl polymer is dissolved in 100 wtpts tetrahydrofuran. This resin solution is sprayed on the surface of a hydrogen storage alloy electrode consittuting a basic electrode system to form a 50mum thick vinyl polymer film. The vinyl polymer film is added to a nickel oxide-hydrogen secondary battery. By this insoluble vinyl polymer, self discharge of the battery is retarded, and charged quantity of electricity is steadily retained for a long time.
