Sheet elements, such as blanks for match-box outer boxes, are stacked on a support 17 by means of a first, larger roller 11 and at least two smaller rollers 12, 13 having shafts parallel to the first roller and arranged for sheet driving engagement with the first roller. The placement of the rollers 11, 12 and 13 and a feed roller pair 15, which supplies sheet elements to the re-orientation device, is preferably such that at least one of the further rollers 12, 13 is in a driving engagement with each sheet element as soon as it leaves the nip between the feed rollers 15 and until the sheet has assumed a generally up-ended position on the support 17, which is placed generally parallel to the sheet input direction. <IMAGE> |
