PURPOSE:To improve the operability by selecting a certain specific developing device to automatically form a color image when color information added to an original is detected. CONSTITUTION:When color information added to the original is detected, a certain specific developing device is selected to automatically form a color image. For example, a window part 181c is provided near an aligning roller 203 on part of an original carrying path 181a correspondingly to part in the breadthwise direction of the carried original, and a spot sensor 230 is provided to face this window part181c and consists of CCD line sensors 235a and 235b. These CCD line sensors 235a and 235b are provided with filters different in passing wavelength. Not only a console panel 30 and developing devices 121 and 122 but also an automatic document feeder is connected to a control part 220. |
