Decontaminating agent for the elimination of chemical warfare agents, which as active ingredients contains morpholine in anhydrous solvents or in finely divided powders together with customary fillers and additives, in the form of solutions, aerosols, chemical cleaning agents, pastes, soaps, powders or in the form of cloths which are impregnated with alcoholic morpholine solutions, and the use of these agents for the elimination of chemical warfare agents.
