PURPOSE:To effectively manufacture parts made of ceramics by entering ceramics sintered body in a vessel containing a polishing liquid, grinding particles and media, and by giving them movement. CONSTITUTION:Materials 1 made of ceramics sintered body are combinedly machined. After the corners of the materials 1 are made to be round, they are finish-machined. When a plurality of materials 1 are entered in a vessel 2 together with grinding particles and media 3 and a polishing liquid 4, and when the vessel 2 is rotated, the materials 1 in the vessel 2 are stirred with the particles and media 3 and the polishing liquid 4. Then, as the materials 1 strike against the particles and media 3, unevenness on the surface of the materials 1 is eliminated, and polishing thereon is thus carried out. The materials are also fully brought into contact with the grinding liquid 4, and the surfaces which are still uneven are corroded and melted, namely subjected to etching, by the liquid 4 to have smooth surfaces. It is thus possible to effectively remove the corners of materials 1 to form them in spherical shapes and finish-machine the surfaces of the materials 1 smoothly according to the simultaneous works of the grinding of grinding particles and media 3 and the chemical treatment of the grinding liquid 4. |
