PURPOSE:To obtain powder for producing sparkling drink, foaming by pouring water thereon when used and giving a drink separated into an upper foaming layer like fresh juice and a lower water, by forming sodium bicarbonate to small granules and covering the granule with outer crust containing an acidulant. CONSTITUTION:Small granules 3 are prepared beforehand from sodium bicarbonate and a sugar composed mainly of sugar powder. The small granules 3 are mixed with an active component for drink composed of fruits and/or vegetables, a sugar, an acidulant such as tartaric acid and a foaming agent for food such as processed albumin. The mixture is stirred and granulated to obtain the objective granule containing at least one small granule 4 in an outer crust 4. Preferably, the diameter of the small granule is about 0.3-1.0mm, the particle diameter of the outer crust 4 is about 1.0-2.0mm and the specific volume of the whole outer crust is about 1.5-3.0cc/g. |
