<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically and surely remove a defective particle which is damaged by cracking or the like during conveyance, by providing a defective article sorting device on the downstream side of a hopper in the belt running direction so that the sorting device is located on the rear side of a perforated endless belt. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt 18 having passed a hopper 14 passes above a defective article sorting device disposed downstream of the hopper 14. The defective article sorting device is arranged such that two round belts 62, 63 which are driven in opposite directions with respect to each other, confront a position directly below the holes 18a in the endless belt 18. Accordingly, articles 24 fitted in the holes 18a are shifted onto the round belts 62, 62 during conveyance, however since the round belts 62, 62 are driven in the opposite directions with respect to each other, the articles 24 set on the belts 62, 62 are subjected to rotary motion. Accordingly, an article which is damaged by cracking or the like drops down between the round belts 62, 62, and are finally recovered into a recovery box 69.</p> |
