PURPOSE:To eliminate influences of harmful light beams, by making a part of a focus detecting sensor which detects the focusing state of a photographing lens to become a dead zone to the harmful light beams when an active AF mode is selected. CONSTITUTION:When an active AF mode is selected, the harmful-light receiving area, namely, an area near the optical axis OC of a photographing lens of a focusing detecting sensor becomes a dead zone. Therefore, harmful light beams which are produced when the light beams projected on an object from the back of the photographing lens are projected on a reflecting mirror 12 after they are projection on the surface of each lens of the photographing lens, are made incident to the dead zone of the focus detecting sensor at the time of the active AF mode. Therefore, the output of the focus detecting sensor is never affected by the harmful light beams. |
